<p>Hi,
I am a senior in high school and hopefully next year I will be an international student in the US. I applied to 5 school and got accepted to all of them, all the schools are ranked in the top 400 according to these websites (<a href="http://www.4icu.org)(www.usnews.com%5B/url%5D">http://www.4icu.org)(www.usnews.com</a>)
My number 1 choice college offered me a 10,000$ scholarship and that means I would have to pay around 20,000$ for the next 4 years. Witch is a bit over what my family can afford.
I cant apply for FASFA and css/financial aid doesn't work with any of these 5 schools. The only financial help I get is from the college scholarships, if I can get an addintional 5,000$ it would make this a whole lot easier, or is that too much? also, non of the other 4 colleges offer more aid.
Thank you for you time, any other advice would be super greatly appreciated!</p>
<p>You certainly can ask. But have a plan B in place just in case the schools say NO. Many schools offer limited aid to international students and expect them to fund the remaining costs.</p>
