Hey,
I applied to Pitt last month, and sent an essay as well as two recommendation letters as supplements to the actual application. I just got a letter back saying that they have reviewed my application and they are now requesting a mid-year report. (Transcript) I'm sure they just want to get a confirmation that I'm keeping up with my grades and doing well in my senior year before making their final admissions decision for me, or is there more to it than just that? What are the average odds of getting in after receiving this letter asking for a senior year "mid-year reports?"
Thanks!

What were your stats like when you applied and what school did you apply into? Generally midyear grades are asked if your GPA is a bit low and they want to see if you’re doing well into your senior year with the classes you’re taking. If you’re doing well, I wouldn’t worry.
