<p>Yes, you might as well assemble all of the papers needed for each school and put them in folders (color coded?), then hand them to your teachers. That way, teachers won’t mix up schools and you get added points for thoughtfully preparing. Maybe you could give them the folders one by one, like one every half a week or something. That way it’s easier for them instead of facing a mountain of recs. Hope this helped.</p>
<p>If I were a teacher, I’d want it all at once, w plenty of time before deadline. Since the recs for different schools have similar question/format, there are efficiencies for the teacher to cut-n-paste similar responses.</p>

<p>Like GMTPlus7 said, make sure to emphasize the good parts of leaving, not the bad things that made you want to leave. Emphasis greater opportunities, fit, and community.</p>

<p>Okay I have a pretty urgent question about recs.You know how you have to fill out a candidate profile before you have access to the recommendations tab at Gateway to Prep Schools? Someone who has done this, do you know if they are online forms or if they are to be filled out on paper? I need to know what they are because I need to get my recs done first, but I’m not ready to submit by candidate profile.</p>

<p>For most places you can have them fill out paper recs, but if not you send the link to the recs. And I saw that you posted the thing about a student statement in another thread and to be honest I have no idea what that is. Haha I haven’t started filling out my apps, just asking for recs. Like I said I am so nervous to ask my math teacher because I almost failed one of her tests and I feel like she will think that I am overestimating my chances when I apply to boarding school. I don’t know if I’m just paranoid. It’s not that I’m worried that she would write a bad rec…just of what she would think of me asking her to do it.</p>

<p>YAY! I went to ask and it was pretty easy, although my orch teacher didn’t expect it at all… He was like, WHAT?! And then shook his head rapidly while all the blood in his body rushed to his head. But he got over it pretty quickly. I’m glad I got asking for this rec out of the way. Going to two other teachers tomorrow. Well, it’s going to be much easier the second and third time, at least.</p>

Is it the TABS forms it’s talking about? If so, is the “School Report” the “Head/Principal/Counselor Recommendation Form”?</p>
<p>Appreciate if you all could help me out. It would be a godsend if I could just use these. All the schools I’m applying to are part of CHADES, which kind of makes me wonder if they’ll really take the TABS forms. After all, isn’t it these schools that all like their own little separate thing for apps…?</p>
