Asking Opinion: from CUNY to Upenn Wharton

I was wondering, there are so many people transfering within the Ivy League, Am I absolutely hopeless in the case I apply as a Transfer Student?
Let me introduce myself:

I am Daniel, Korean-Argentinian, green card holder, who came to the United States two years ago aproximately.
I speak/write Spanish natively and I am fluent in Korean as well.
I am learning Russian in this semester (even though my foreign language requirement are fulfilled because of my native language)
Although I'm not enrolled in any "college leadership" program or student unions, I have been working in the real world gaining experience in several areas in many fields of business, since I like the challenge of adapting myself in different enviroments. (Funeral Home, liquor store, photographer, translator, etc...)
I studied five semesters approximately of International Business in Argentina, and now I'm transferred to Queens College, CUNY, trying to pursue the major of Finance. Right now I am Upper Sophomore.
I wasn't required to take SAT or TOEFL to get into CUNY since I am a green card holder (toefl exempted, even though English it is not my first language) and I am a international transfer student (no SAT required, quite an interesting case, huh?), but I don't mind taking SAT or TOEFL if required.
My first semester in America I got a lousy 3.055 GPA, but now in this fall I am very confident that I'm gonna ace all my 5 subjects.

How real are my chances to get transfered to Wharton, does it worth a try?
Should I send a email to xfers@admissions.upenn.edu asking this, or is it a waste of time?

Thank you very much,
Daniel

you're gonna need to take the toefl and sat to cover your bases there, and you've got to get your grades up,

garompeta - everything you need to know is on the Transfer & Wharton websites. Be particularly attentive to the course requirements for junior transfers:

Two semesters of integral calculus, or its equivalent (MATH 103, MATH 104)
One semester of introductory microeconomics (ECON 001)
One semester of introductory macroeconomics
One semester of financial accounting (ACCT 101)
One semester of managerial accounting (ACCT 102)
Two semesters of statistics (with a calculus prerequisite) (STAT 101, STAT 102)

The transfer people will answer specific questions about the process but will not estimate your chances.

Finally, be aware that transferring into Wharton from outside Penn, as a Junior, is going to be very difficult. Internally, at least, it is purely numbers based. The GPA cutoff varies every year but hovers around 3.7.
