Asking others for favors... Any limit?

I always feel bad when I incessantly ask some people for favors. For example, I always have a tendency to check the homework for classes just so that I don't miss anything. Sometimes I might ask them for help on assignments and such. I always feel that I'm just too focused on school and not on our "friendship bonds." :/

To what degree do you think that you should ask people for help? What kind of favors do you guys get from your friends?

i feel that way sometimes too. sometimes i feel i ask too much out of my friends and they say "no its ok" but in the back of my mind i feel its not
asking people for help is fine but dont go buggingthem about every little thing. u should do it occassionally if u really need the help. i get favors from my friends all the time, but its usually an equivalent exchange: i print out his hw because his printer is broken and he helps me out with my math hw
i believe there should be a balance where u dont always ask someone for help or vice versa. it should be equal

If you "always feel that I'm just too focused on school" perhaps you could approach some of your friends and say that you want to repay the favors, and go out to a movie or something else thats focused on "friendship bonds" rather than on school. That way they can see that you realize you're asking them a lot of favors, but they will also see that you want them as friends, not just resources. Good luck and have a bit of fun!
