i am an international students… i want to enter community college and seek transfer to another university, especially in Washington state.

What community college is good in Washington/seattle?

do i still able to study medical later ?

is it good to study in community college ?

Yeah, do the Cal thing. The greatest thing about the American education system is: if you work hard enough, you can get anywhere you want eventually.

If you live around Seattle, Bellevue CC or Seattle Central CC are definitely the best offerings for easy transfer to the University of Washington. If you live further south around the Federal Way/Seatac area, Highline CC is very good as well. Public transportation is very slow/inconvenient in Seattle so pick a school nearby if you don't have a car.

Yes

CC education in Washington is expensive compared to California! For state residents, tuition is around $75 per unit iirc and around $250/unit for international students. But at the same time, cost of living is so much lower (1 bedroom apartment in the $600 range can be found easily). You'd receive a much better education in California (I attended CC's in both states), but if you're set on transferring to a Washington state college, the aforementioned CC's will get you there easily. Just remember that Washington is a very quaint, but boring place to live. I'm actually in Seattle right now for vacation.

You should come to Calif Community College. I don't know about other state, but the UC system here will probably give you more oppotrunities on transfering to colleges like UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, or UC Los Angeles.

yes i am very jealous of california and I live in Texas! We've got a pretty good setup, but you can't find as many great public universities anywhere compared to california (and they've got us beat on private too) :(

? this is interesting, but somehow i did not take all science subjects i just have basic chemistry and physics, but i don't take biology. Is it still possible to study medical in community college ?
