ASL?

Hi all,
I have begun learning ASL (American Sign Language) because it is something that really interests me. I was wondering, what could I do to make it “official” since my school does not offer ASL and I cannot take a class in ASL at a CC. Like if I am putting languages on my application, is there any test I could take to prove I know it, or is it not necessary/

Could you officially start volunteering with an organization within the deaf culture of your area? That could cement your ASL involvement or skills.

I second the above post! You can try to find ASL classes in your area, too. if you’re still learning.
