Aspiring Harvard Applicant Needs Advice : )-2

The other day i went to my counselor and she told me to start a community service project about something i like. I like business/politics, however, i can't think of any kind of community service project concerning these interests. I was hoping that the friendly people at CC could give me some suggestions on what to do for a project. I'm going to tie this project with FBLA, so i have the possibility of 100+ volunteers if necessary : ).(i'm running for district too and i'm scared xD!).

Well anyways, i had some other doubts. Like what are some things that i can do during summer (the summer right after freshman year). I'm planning to take dual enrollment in that time, try out some fun classes and some core too, but is there anything else that can be done and HOW can i go about and ACTUALLY DO those things.

Ok and finally, i'm very interested in getting a place where i can donate my time consistently. I want to volunteer at a political campaign, but i have NO IDEA how to find one and start volunteering, do u guys know =]?

Thanks so much for your help!

any1 have any ideas, please help =[! Anything is useful to me :D

Start an abortion clinic and sell abortions. Then start a pro-life political group and have them protest outside of your abortion clinic.

It’s really not hard. Find something that you don’t particularly like about society and try to make a difference. If you don’t like the poverty around a neighborhood, for example, go help give food or something to them.

“I want to volunteer at a political campaign, but i have NO IDEA how to find one and start volunteering,”

Start attending meetings of your local political party of choice.

Follow local politics, and call or e-mail to offer your volunteer services to a candidate whom you support.

i lol’d at the thing structure said xD. Thnx for the help btw! Now to start actualizing some of the advice.

Relax. You don’t have to do this project unless you want to. Just wait a bit and see what you get into naturally in the next few years.
