Aspiring Harvard MBA

So I’m finishing up my Bachelor degree in Computer Science and I hope to one day get my MBA from Harvard. I know that I have a little while to go but I wanted to know what classes I should take in my undergrad that will help me get when I’m applying.

I have a lot of extra room in my schedule and I am debating what I should do in that spare time. These are the 3 option I have come up with so far:

  1. Get a Math Minor
  2. Get an English Minor
  3. Take a bunch of Business classes (UVA doesn't have a Business minor or else I would have done that)

What do you guys think?

My feeling is, take what will get you a great job. Business schools will probably be more concerned with your work experience and how you do on the GRE or GMAT than your minor in college.

MBA programs won’t really care what classes you took in college- your overall performance, GRE/GMAT & experience will matter way more.

However, you can help yourself and make the transition to Bschool easier by taking some basic econ and accounting classes.
