Hey guys, I know that it's late, but I cannot wait. I am "dying" to get into an Ivy League college, specifically Brown, Harvard, UPenn, or Yale. My mom went to Brown, which can help. I have been to two summer camps at Brown (awesome experience), and I fell in love with the place. I want to even play basketball to increase admission chances. I am only a sophomore and have not taken the SAT yet (will take in fall), so don't chew me out on it!Also, I have about 20 inventions that I will "sell" this summer/ work with company in nearby city.

What are you talking about? I am not trying to force my way into college solely on “b-ball stats;” I simply put them there so others can tell me if I am good enough to play. I even impressed a Brown University scout on the brown campus at summer@brown. His jaw dropped, and he tried to play ANY game with me. Sure, I am short, but have you heard of Chris Paul? I have played every postion because I play with reckless abandon and I am extremely versatile. Please let me know if my acedemic accomplishments are good enough tp get into an Ivy League school. I am extremely motivated to gain admission to open myself to a lifetime of wonderful people and connections. BTW, those stats ARE REAL!!! I drop jaws when I play b-ball because of my unexpected explosiveness and hops. I even nearly jumped OVER a 6’ 6" 250 lpound Center in seventh grade. I only care about getting in on my academic accolades, so please help me out here!!!

Okay…you posted this on seven other forums. That says something about you.
I have this feeling that this is some kind of closet ■■■■■, but oh well.

Your stats are good, and you seem well-rounded.
But there is this sinking feeling that you may get rejected at like all Ivies except like two.
I do not know why. I have this feeling that you don’t seem like the type who can stick to one thing and see it through, or you do too much for your own good.

There is just something wrong with this picture.

And yes, I noticed that he posted this everywhere.
And dude, get a grip, IVY status is not everything. There are a boat load of colleges like MIT and CALTECH that isn’t IVY but up there.

Can someone give me positive feedback or good constructive criticism for my chances at UPenn? My passions are: basketball, inventions, helping orphans, and debate. Help me out please!

big dreamer, I think u have a great shot at UPenn (particularly cuz of ur b-blall prowess) and Brown (cuz ur a legacy) so just keep up wat ur doing and u should be fine. but dont stress tho! good luck :P

Thanks CU4L91 for your kind input and good advice about stressing! Your right, I am a bit overly concerned, but I just want to avoid a dreaded “catastrophic mistake.” These top schools have confusing admissions departments, but they always say to be yourself…
Thanks!

What do you ever mean, Gelco321? I may be smarter than the average bear, but to call myself “clever,” that must be a reach beyond means! Why are you so upset? Just enjoy life, and do not harbor hatred!

You seem very upset with me, what did I do to vex you? Oh well, it may be useless to try to appease everyone! ;)

My Point: "I’ve got some good info. ****! "
