Aspiring Transfer Student

Hello, I am currently a freshman at University of Illiniois-Urbana Champaign with major in Kinesiology. I like the school and love the people here. However, as I entered the school with the hope of majoring in kinesiology, I found out that it wasn’t my thing. Kinesiology is a good subject but I asked myself what I wanted to do with it. I’ve found out that most if not every students who were majoring in kinesiology were deciding to become a PT or OT. I didn’t want to become PT or OT. So in the course of 2 month, I’ve been thinking to myself on what I really liked and wanted to do. And I found passion in biology and geoscience. I’ve looked into the schools biology and geoscience program but the school did not offer the good program I desired. So I am still in the researching stage for my transfer school but my question is will changing major as I transfer work against me and how would I take the course for my second semester?
