Assessing Rigour

BTW, MIT does give credit for 5’s. Mostly in the humanities and social sciences. Also for a 5 in AP Calculus BC and AP Physics C: http://web.mit.edu/firstyear/prospective/credit/ap.html

Harvard doesn’t give credit for AP’s, per se, but get enough 5’s, and you can get Advanced Standing (which allows you to graduate a year early or stay a 4th year for a Masters).

Stanford is the most generous with AP’s: https://registrar.stanford.edu/students/transfer-credit-and-advanced-placement/advanced-placement/ap-credit-chart
You can even get college credit with 3’s and 4’s at Stanford.
