This was just added to my portal this morning. I have everything turned in except for the Dependent Worksheet, which (I know it’s late) I’m getting in tonight. Does anyone know why they are requiring this of me? Do they think I lied on my original tax forms and stuff? Because I didn’t, so I don’t understand why this would be necessary. I’m nervous 
Will I get less aid?
Financial Aid is closely monitored, with pressure to make sure aid is being disbursed fairly and according to rules and regulations. I used to work at a university and independent auditors every year audited the Financial Aid department to make sure we were complying with all regulations. If a department has a “finding”, depending on how severe it is, there are financial penalties for the school, and the institution is at risk for losing their ability to offer Federal Financial Aid (Pell, Stafford Loans, Parent Plus Loans, etc.).
My guess it’s just the Financial Aid department making sure everything is in order and all documentation is received. It’s possible different answers to something may have raised a question. It’s possible you were randomly selected. I wouldn’t worry about it - just answer everything accurately and truthfully and submit it.
