Hello, my college offers an associates degree in human services. I am in my mid 20’s and at that point where I just want to pursue a degree that can offer different opportunities since I truly don’t know what I want to study. At one point I wanted to be a teacher and now I just want options. I thought nursing, but I honestly don’t necessary don’t think it’s for me…also won’t be able to use my financial aid with that program.
I have 10+ years as a admin assistant and I don’t think I can grow with this experience so would like to prepare myself for something else in the future.
I love the idea of helping people, researching, good with computers,… do you think with human services I can look into such careers?
I know associate degree would mainly help with entry level jobs but do you think with this I would have a greater chance as working towards a government job,or even at a clinic etc?
