ASTERISK???!!! Make sense of this PLEASE!

So I applied to Harvard and I sent them my scores. My online file says the following:

Tests Received
SAT-I October 2007
June 2007 *
SAT-II June 2007 U.S. History
June 2007 Literature
June 2005 Ecological Biology

For tests marked with asterisks (*), Harvard has not yet received official score reports from the appropriate testing agencies. For more information visit ETS: Educational Testing Service – Home or ACT: Resources for Education and Workplace Success.

Huh? I sent them all my scores...why would one test date be "unofficial" still if all others are "official"?

Anyone understand/have the same issue??

How did you take the SAT I in June 2007 AND two SAT IIs in June 2007.

You will find when you check your common app that you made the mistake
of leaving June 2007 for Sat I and included the SAT IIs that you actually took.

Not a big deal and certianly not an error if a human were checking…

Harvard’s automatic checking mechanism is probably applying an asterisk on
what you said you were sending on your common app, not realizing that
it does not makes sense.
…I am guessing here…
This is probably because the scores are read automatically and the online
status pages are created automatically (without human interpretation).

The question then for you is whether Harvard is going to flag your app as incomplete
and wait till the asterisk is taken out.

Call them. Also you should e-mail them at college@fas.harvard.edu and
request them to remove the asterisk :)

Oh No! I took the SAT I in May…unbelievable mistake! Hopefully this error can be rectified!

Relax, it is rectifiable. :)

thank u =)
