Asthma?

So I’m beginning to look seriously at USNA and I just remembered having what can only be described as an asthma attack as a kid. Asthma is like an auto-DQ if I recall correctly, so I’m getting a bit nervous. I never took any meds for it, and I haven’t touched an inhaler for any reason in about ten years, so should I still be worried? Should I still tell my physician when I get the DoDmerb examination?

I don’t have any problems running (I run about a 5:45 mile) or swimming either

My understanding is that it is a disqualification only if it is diagnosed/identified/ongoing at age 14 or later.
