Is Astro C10 webcasted? will it be webcasted in fall 2009?

looks unlikely

by the way, is this class pretty easy to get an A in?

Astro C10 is webcasted. It’s just not on webcast.berkeley.edu due to possible copyright infringement issues. The webcast lectures can only be viewed on bspace for students enrolled in the class.

ah i see
now what about the course’s difficulty?

bump…im sure someone on CC has taken the class…how hard is this course?

is filippinko teaching that one? i’ve heard it’s really good

yes. He teaches the fall sections.

it’s roughly like…50% A’s, 40% B’s, 10% C’s

hey dude, if you have Filippinko: Go to Lectures.

If not, you will after attending the first class. Such a excellent lecturer.

dimension, would you say getting an A in this course is 1) easy? 2) doable? 3) difficult?

I didn’t take it, but one of my friends did (with the harder prof. Marc Davis). It’s an absolute joke. He went to 0 lectures and got an A+

easy . although ive heard from other people that if youre not somewhat familiar with math/physics concepts then it can be a bit more challenging. but its still definitely doable class. they even held extra office hours for math review :)

and filippinko is awesome :D

what sort of math/physics concepts are you talking about?

basic algebra (variables and stuff), ratios, and how in physics you manipulate equations around to get answers

but its really not that important. the class is very doable

follow my advise and and you will be satisfied.
