Astro N12 vs. Astro C12

I was thinking about taking Astro N12 online over the summer, but when I looked up the class, there's hardly anything on it. But there is stuff for C12, which has, literally, the same course description as N12. So...is there a difference, or are they basically the same thing? Thanks!

Course Format: Six hours of web-based lecture for eight weeks.
Credit option: Students will receive no credit for N12 after taking C12 or Earth and Planetary Science C12.

It looks like Astro C12, but in web-lecture format. I’m currently taking C12 right now, and it’s a really easy class (I must mention however I have taken Filippenko’s Astro C10 class, as well as Muller’s Physics for Future Presidents class, so I already am familiar with most of the conceptual ideas in the course).

for astro c12, can you attend any discussion section or just the one you are enrolled in? and is it required?
