Astronomy internship/mentorship/apprenticeship/etc.

I'm looking for a school or observatory around the Los Angeles area with professors of researchers that's willing to take a high school students. I'm seeking, preferably one-on-one, to show my interest by learning through hands on experience and to assist/help professors/researchers. I've tried at UCLA (a graduate student whom I talked to emailed ~every Astronomy faculty member yesterday seeing if there's anyone that would help me - but I don't think this will work out. I've also tried Mt. Wilson Observatory but I didn't get a reply. I emailed them again but I don't think this will work out either).

I live 5 minutes away from Caltech so naturally I'm look at there as well, but I don't know who to email about this. Anyone know a specific person I should email?

And anyone know any institution that have what I'm looking for?

I hope someone responds this time...
