ASU Admissions Fall 2014

For all prospective students (and anyone, current students included, who can lend advice) — Here’s a Class of 2018 ASU Facebook page !!!

https://www.facebook.com/groups/Class.of.2018.ASU/

Get ready… New Freshman are coming soon !!!

Did anyone get BARRETT Decisions?! A friend of mine that is OOS got his letter of acceptance via the website today! That scares me cause I haven’t gotten anything!

Jpatel. My DS was accepted to Barrett a year ago and it seems as if ASU waits until the actual published date for the majority of in state students. Good luck!

Ohhh, I don’t understand why they accept OOS students earlier. I was freaking out before I read this! Thank you and anyone else have any insight?

Hey guys. Happy 2014! Has anyone of you received his or her admission for Fall 2014 to ASU? My application for Fall 2014 got under review six days ago.

I was accepted into ASU in general a while back since I applied SUPER early, but I am still awaiting Barrett acceptance, website displays Jan 10th as the day when students are notified.

Good luck.

@Jpatel2014 how long did you wait for your acceptance notification after your application was “In Review”?

If I remember correctly, it was like 3-4 weeks. But I would guess it takes a little longer now because majority of students are applying now (fewer people apply priority in general) so they have to process more application and transcripts and all of that.

Are you in-state?

Also, have you applied or plan on applying to Barrett, the Honors College?

I’m an international student from Zambia. I haven’t applied to Barrett and do not plan on doing that for now because my prime interest currently is my acceptance to ASU.

Ah I see, if you don’t mind, can I know your stats? I can give you my judgment based on friends and family that have been accepted.

For the most part, you should be fine! ASU looks for diverse people and you seem diverse!

Well, I basically have a TOEFL IBT score of 77 and seven distinctions and a merit from my Grade twelve final examinations.

Hm, we’ll intake that back, I have no clue how international testing and scores work! I’m sure you’ll get in, just check once in a while on the website! Best of luck and hope to see you at ASU in the fall! :)

Thanks a lot buddy.

I was already accepted to ASU with 25k in scholarships and applied to Barrett a while back.

I’m getting a little worried about admissions though because my friend (who is also in state) received his acceptance about a week ago.

Carotid, I still haven’t received a letter as well for Barrett. We’ll see what happens Jan. 10th! Did you get 25k a year or over 4 years?

***, an instate student already got their acceptance letter? I know a person who is out of state that got theirs. I guess we’ll just have to wait till this Friday! I’m starting to break a sweat lol

IF ANYONE OUT THERE GOT AN ACCEPTANCE OR DENIAL LETTER, please post here. Thanks

Moment of truth tomorrow.

Good luck everyone.

Good luck to you too. I’m surprised there aren’t a lot more people talking about the Barrett acceptance tomorrow. Am I missing something? Lol

My S is anxiously awaiting the decision tomorrow! Maybe there weren’t that many applicants here on CC.

I can’t even access my Barrett application self service page, is anyone else having this issue?
