<p>What is the dorm life like in the Barrett community? I understand that it's meant for people serious about school but that doesn't mean they don't want to have fun. Can it get pretty boring in the dorms?</p>
<p>Barrett dorms = luxury college living, not boring college life. Put hundreds of college students together… I doubt there’s boredom; perhaps not parties till 4 am every weeknight but expect pranks, parties, music, games, etc. :)</p>
<p>there’s been a lot of discussion about Barrett dorms that you can research here. my general recollection is that some of the floors are rowdier than others and which floor you get can be hit or miss. </p>
<p>It depends on campus a bit too. Tempe is going to have the most fun students, while Tech or Downtown may have more always-serious students. However, all Barrett students will be very serious about grades, it’s just some tend to be more fun and laid back than others.</p>
<p>I am at the Tempe campus and am an engineering major so I will be living with other engineers. Obviously I’m very serious about school but at the same time u want to go to parties and have fun so I was just wonder how lame the dorms would be from that aspect. </p>
<p>Also, you don’t have to spend all your time in Barrett. You can do anything, anywhere on campus if you feel like it. If there isn’t a party going on a Barrett when you feel like partying, you will definitely be able to find one somewhere else on campus. You aren’t going to find students boozing up on the ping pong tables in the Barrett dorms, but the students will have fun in other ways in the honors dorm.</p>
