<p>Just wanted to see when people were getting decisions. I talked to the admissions office at Barrett today and they said it would show up in December on our MyASU page, but I was wondering when people in previous years had gotten admissions decisions. Did any come early, or are they all posted on the same day?</p>

<p>Yes, my d got her acceptance e-mail before Thanksgiving.</p>
<p>barrett accepts all the national merit semi-finalists first, then goes onto the rest of the applicant pool. so the people that have already been accepted are probably national merit-something, and the rest of the applicants will have to wait till sometime in december for a decision.</p>
<p>My D got her acceptance the week before Thanksgiving - and right before we left for our ASU/Barrett visit, very convenient!</p>
<p>D received her acceptance the week before Thanksgiving also. I think the website said they would notify the first pool by Dec. 31 so we were very surprised to see it so soon. She is NMSF so maybe that is it.</p>
<p>jokahugo: How did your visit go? We visited last April and D really liked Barrett. Even after visiting several other schools this summer and fall, she keeps saying how much she liked ASU and Barrett. She will probably go on an overnight in January or February.</p>

<p>My D really liked Barrett - so much so that she had me go ahead and make the $300 enrollment deposit just to hold her a spot (which is refundable up until 5/1 if she changes her mind). She hadn’t even thought about ASU/Barrett until the letter arrived about the great scholarship and really wasn’t all that excited about even going to visit. However, she was able to do the overnight stay plus they (Barrett) hosted a great visit and she was impressed - we were too :-). She will see what other scholarships, etc. she is offered at other schools before making her final decision in the spring but we will be happy if she choses Barrett.</p>

<p>Mine too. I think all decisions are coming out on the thirty first of December. Fingers crossed for everyone!!!</p>
<p>One of my son his says “In review” and the other still says " pending/ in process". Not sure why?</p>

<p>My application is still in review too. I am 100% sure I had everything before the EA deadline and confirmed it with admissions, even though they messed up my application and didn’t seem to know what they were doing (regular ASU not Barrett). This is my backup plan if my first choice doesn’t work out so this BETTER work out for me or Tucson it is. -_-</p>
<p>So you don’t think you will get in??? The high school lady messed up the boys transcript. They didn’t send them until later. Also I have noticed my son with the higher GPA all his items are in and the other ones is not and I sent everything the same day for both. Hate waiting…</p>
<p>I think one of them applied to WEST and other to POLY…</p>

<p>Still in review… I don’t know what’s up. I got accepted to 3 other schools and their honors programs, one in particular even more prestigious than Barrett and Barrett was my top choice up until a few months ago. <em>sigh</em>
Ah well. I just hope my first choice plan works out…</p>
