ASU Barrett EA

No D: I was expecting to wake up to a decision…

I am sure that they are all still on vacation. The staffing I mean… I know that in California that universities are not opening back until the 2nd.

^ yes, but they did say that if the application was in by the priority deadline, a decision could be expected on Dec. 31.

per the website:

So if you didn’t have everything in by then… Then what??? On a individual basis, they will decide. I think the its was only for the Tempe campus.

When I visited, I talked to the Barrett Director of Admissions and he said if everything for your application (test scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.) was not in by November 15th, your application will not be evaluated until the next cycle.

Well one of my son his is “in review” and that was about the week of Dec 16th. The high school office sent his transcript on Nov 16th. So I am hopefully that we will hear before the end of Jan. The other one is still “pending”… And his the high school didn’t send his transcript until later. They got the boys mixed up. But I am hopefully for him too.

Can some one take one for the team and call Barrett directly to find out what the deal is? I would, but I am currently somewhere with no phone service.

Got an email, saying there was a decision and that it could be accessed online, but application status is still “in review”… :(

Okay, finally updated itself.
Accepted :)

Accepted!! I was scared for a while because I didn’t get a decision until the last day! Congrats to other accepted students!

Accepted also!! I kind of expected it, but I was still worried because it didn’t show up sooner. I hope everybody has good news!

Our Daughter was accepted 12-31-12 8 PM. In state Class rank 12/390. ACT 27. GPA 3.79. Lettered in Golf/Swimming/Stuco. Club president.Little volunteer hours. Great letters. Offered ASU Provost Scholarship. We have no idea on impact of essay. It was focused on her pacifist belief which may have been timely in wake of recent violent events. Our family is filled with ASU alum so we are excited. Great opportunity for her.

So I think it’s just for Barrett not any of the other campus
