ASU Barrett vs NCSU vs Clemson for Engineering/Computer Science

I am a rising senior finalizing the safety schools I will apply to this fall. I am an Asian male ranked 1/500ish in my class with 4.0 GPA UW… On the new SAT I got a 1550 (750 V 800 M) along with 800 Math II, 770 Physics, and 760 Chem for my subject tests. Coupled with my objective stats I also have strong EC’s such as Science Olympiad, programming/business scouting on FIRST Robotics, Academic Team, 2 years of varsity tennis, and 6 years of orchestra with achieving a high chair in my area’s all county orchestra for 5 of those years.

I plan on majoring in either CS and biology for bioinformatics, CompE, or some sort of Mechatronics Engineering degree, as I am very interested in robotics along with bioinformatics. I might minor in Econ or Finance, as well. The end goal for me is to either be a software engineer or a robotics engineer. For my safeties, along with a few other schools I am deciding between applying to Arizona State Barrett Honors, NC State Engineering, and Clemson Calhoun Honors (in state). I know these schools seem kind of random and scattered across the map, however I feel like they would be good fits for me. Between the three, which one would be most worth it as far as research opportunities, job prospects, etc. for my major?

Thanks CC!

Have your parents told you that all three of them are affordable?

ASU Barrett has some serious financial requirements (Honors Meal Plan  ) that could potentially make it pricey. NCSU and Clemson are both fairly affordable, and if you’re instate for Clemson it should be an easy choice. Of course, there’s always the follow the money approach as well.
