ASU Barrett vs. UofA Honors College

I’m deciding between Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University and the Honors College at the University of Arizona. What are the pros and cons for each? Which school is better?

What major?

undecided on a major as well haha

Barrett is one of the best Honors Colleges in the country. It’s much more comprehensive and better funded than UA’s.
UA is a better university, but Barrett is better than UAHonors.
(Barrett> UAHonors > UA> ASU).
ASU uses a two-tier system: excellent everything for excellent students, and so-so everything for everyone else (especially in terms of class size).
Essentially, Barrett students have their own mini campus with dorms, lounges, a pool, and they enjoy all kinds of smaller classes. There’s excellent support for research, research presentations, study abroad, and grant writing/fewllowships. They can take as many or as few “regular” ASU classes as they wish, and since ASU is bery generous with AP credit, they can start their majors earlier while taking Honors-only gen eds (but they can take some of these outside Barrett).

Barrett’s separate campus is a pretty amazing setup.
