i got accepted into ASU CU boulder and SDSU which one would be better i am a really social person:D but i want to study too which one do you think is better w.p carey or leeds business ohh and which one has a better nightlife ?:D

Boulder is probably your best bet, in terms of prestige. All three schools have lively social scene, you can’t go wrong there :)

^^I strongly suggest CU Boulder.

hey,

congrats! were you offered financial aid?

hey, thanks guys and yes i am also feeling CU boulder and no i wasnt offered financial aid because i am an international:D i have heard really good things about boulder’s business school, although i am also considering WP Carey as it is also consedered somewhat “prestigious” (and i’ve heard some pleasent stuff about ASU’s female student body).i dont know much about SDSU and i would like to graduate in 4 years too would that be difficult ?

In all these schools (large, public schools with thousands of students) you have to be organized and assertive about getting the classes you need in order to graduate in 4 years. It CAN be done - you just need to plan your schedule carefully, make sure you have all the prerequisites done on time to be able to take the required courses. Sometimes taking summer courses helps to stay on that 4-year track.

i am realli thinking about ASU’S barett honours i dont know i am having this feeling that i wont really like boulder that much while tempe really sounds apealing as a college town (i have never visited tempe or boulder please help me on this) on the other hand i love california especially santa barbara and san diego i am waiting for UC decisions but since i am an international with average standarized test scores(act 31) i dont think i will be able to get into UCSB OR UCLA.Barett really sounds good because you can have quality education and asu’s social scene at the same time (correct me if i am wrong) on the other hand you guys are telling me boulder is more prestigious .urggggggggg HELPPPPP!

If you can get into Barret, it’s your best option by far.

It’s almost impossible to graduate from SDSU in 4 years.

I don’t know much about Barret. In terms of business schools, ASU’s business school is ranked higher than Leeds at Boulder. So if you’re absolutely sure you want to study business, ASU may be the better place. However, overall, there is no doubt that the University of Colorado at Boulder as a whole has a much better reputation than Arizona State U. It is a nationally ranked research university well known for its sciences.

Boulder is considered one of the nicest college towns in the US. It is beautiful, in the foothills not far from world-class skiing/snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing. It offers an interesting mix of culture, the outdoors and academics. And yes, it has a very lively party scene :)

thanks again katlia mom you’re greattt :)

ASU Barretts is ranked nationally as one of the best honors college in the nation. I attend ASU now and I’m a Barrett student. It feels like a private college in a way because we have our own community with brand new dorms (the community was opened in 2009), seriously the nicest dorms in the country, and we have seminar/lectures that only honor students can take with classrooms within our complex. Also we have our own dining hall, gym, computer lab and advising office! the food is superb, non honor students can eat here but they have to pay extra. I didn’t think I would like ASU at first but being in Barrett, I love it!
