which university would you rather go to? (business major...and both have good business programs)

San Diego State.

Which state are you a resident of? They are close enough academics-wise that the in-state tuition difference will make up for any other inequities.

ASU is a sick party school with a good business school, the only knock on the school is that it is gigantic, it has like an east and west campus.

Dont know much about SD state but its b-school is ranked alot lower than ASU
26. Arizona State University (Carey) * 3.6
77. San Diego State University * 2.9

Arizona State doesn't have a good academic reputation... believe me. I would pick SDS. Plus, Arizona State is just too gigantic.

SD, ASU is rediculous.
Like 60,000 undergrad.
Scary

Sdsu .

Actually, ASU has barely over 50,000 undergrads I think. But yes, gigantic. Why don't people like gigantic schools? I never got that. I love them. You're going to have a small group of friends no matter where you go, but at a gigantic school, you have more to choose from :)

Sorry, my post did exagerate

i was trying to decide between the two for a while myself and i've elminited asu from my choices because of the out of state tuition and am probably going to sdsu. the weather in az was a factor for me too, since im used to so. cal. weather

im pretty sure asu was just bumped up to number one on the list of largest campuses in the nation tho

Yeah, early this school year. It passed OSU and UTA.

ASU has a dynamite Honors program. If you can get into Barret Honors
College, get a Dean's direct admission to the Carey Biz school,
and keep a 3.5 GPA, ASU may be well worth the OOS tuition differential.
I'd say it's definitely a cut above SDSU for Business. It's ranked
even better than UCSB business.

Perhaps that's a tall order, given all the distractions, partying,
and possibilities ... but how'd that be different in SDSU?

I would choose SDSU over ASU.
