Is it worth applying for?

Are you talking about that representative position just described in a recent email?

From what I know of ASUC, it's just typical crappy student government (as in, ineffective, wasteful, lazy, done for the title and nothing else). I would avoid it unless you're into that. Then again, if you want to be a politician, that might be right up your alley.

I think it's one of the most respected things that the administration will deal with and think about that is run purely by students.

what r u applying for

Unlimited...yeah, the representative position. Is it worth it? I heard that sometimes they stay up until 4 in the morning trying to pass bills, which aren't worth it. What do you guys think?

My general impression is that will certainly be something that would provide a lot of new experience, and excellent for your resume.

Whether it is worth it or not depends on you. It depends whether you are involved in other activities that you are willing to give up if you do get the position.

what is the rep position?

That's why I am asking..I have no idea what the difference is between the different positions.
