At a complete loss, need some help, sorry for the wall of text!

Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting here at C.C.
In H.S i was a slacker and did well enough on the sat (1890) to get into the school that i wanted (Cuny Baruch). Im double majoring in Poli sci and Business Journalism (if that matters)

My freshman year in college wasnt too terrible, but i was lost at what i wanted to do and let 1 D and 1 C ruin my overall for that year (3.28 gpa for freshman year).
My sophmore year however i realized what i wanted to do, and realized that grades were (and are) essential. I had a 3.838 GPA for the first semester, and managed a 4.0 this semester (which i just finished)
This has brought my overall gpa to a decent 3.57.
so by semester this is how my GPA look (3.22,3.34,3.838, 4.0).
I am however relatively unhappy with being here at baruch, living at home etc etc.

I am looking for schools to possibly transfer too (location doesnt matter)thought i dont know which schools will take me w/ that gpa (or how they will view my grade trend, especially one as varied as mine). If you guys could give me some schools that would be target, safeties and reaches it would be very appreciated.

What’s your fiscal situation? What type of school are you looking for(big, small, fratty, etc) I’d think you’d get in Boston University.

very bad fiscal situation, id prob have to take out loans… but im also by no means set on transferring, i just have absolutely no clue on even where i could get in.

In terms of the school id like to go to, id like a school w/ a decent social scene, but not one in which drinking is the dominant of campus activity, ideally id also like to dorm, since commuting every day + living at home = almost no going out w/ friends.
