<p>I don’t think they will take because of your HS record and scores. In fact, it may appear that you would be better off where you are as you have done well.</p>
<p>Is it worth mentioning that I graduated high school in Spring of 2011, and those SAT scores are from 2010? Academically I am an entirely different person, but do those high school statistics really still carry that much weight 3 years later?</p>
<p>I thought high school didn’t really count when you apply as a transfer. I think they primarily look at your college record, and it appears as though you have done well. I may be wrong, though.</p>
<p>On the assumption that high school statistics don’t get weighed too heavily, are my college stats good enough for Oberlin? I’m from New York state so in terms of geographic distribution for a competitive LAC, I feel like that might count against me.</p>
<p>Or would I be at an advantage, coming to the midwest from the Northeast?</p>
<p>my friend got in with extremely low stats, so of course you have a chance, but it’s not totally huge. my friend had around 3.0 gpa, around 1800 SAT also. but he was an amazing artist, so he had that going for him</p>
