<p>Some schools are sat optional. They will consider your sat score, if you submit them. At these schools you are not required to, and may have to hand in a graded essay, or do something else if you do not submit the scores. Many colleges take will take the scores very seriously, bc they post those sat ranges in the college guide books. So, yes it can help.</p>
<p>i think it helps to have good SAT scores everywhere, even where they are optional.</p>
