At what point do Schools forget your High School record?

I want to transfer in my sophomore and i want HS to be in my past. If i excel in college, would I have a shot at Tier 1 Schools and possibly the Ivy League?

for sophmore admissions your hs record will likely be the biggest factor in your admissions...for junior admissions, your hs record will be of greatly diminished importance

I don't know that the top privates disregard high school even as a junior transfer, but HS is certainly key for soph transfer. And SAT scores remain very important, so an important thing is to see if the colleges will let you retake them if you've already started college if that was a weakness coming out of HS. Some will, others won't.
