At what point do you know it's not right?

<p>CBParent…I’m guessing from your other posts that the college in question is the one in Ohio with a strong reputation for pot-smoking hipsters. From what I can tell, on the spectrum that ranges from straight-arrow schools to pot-smoking hipster schools, your daughter’s school is way at the extreme. It’s also relatively small in enrollment. So while there are no doubt SOME students like your daughter there, they are probably few and far between. It seems like a case of gross mis-match between student and college, and I’d recommend she get the best grades possible and cultivate some good relationships with professors (for letters of recommendation) in preparation for a transfer.</p>

<p>It seems like with transfer applicants, the reason for transferring is very important. You are fortunate as “not fitting in” the [extreme] current school shouldn’t be hard comprehend for admissions officers.</p>
