At which top schools should I apply?

<p>these stats aren't as great as some people on here, but they're not too horrible</p>

<p>Stats:
UW GPA: 3.98
W GPA: 4.03
class rank: (hasn't been calculated yet, but I was in top 12% last semester)
Public high school, one of the best in the state. highly competitive. sends many students to top schools
Residency: Wisconsin
ACT composite: 29.....(31 english, 32 math, 28 reading, 25 science)
(superscore=30) if that matters</p>

<p>have taken many honors classes
Only one AP class junior year (psychology) scores not back yet...probably 4 or 5
3-4 AP classes senior year
Decent number of extracurriculars + foreign exchange trip
Only a small amount of volunteering (serving food to the homeless)
Won a few awards for my art
I have never had a job</p>

<p>2 teacher recommendations
Good Essay</p>

<p>Also, i'm male, not a minority, upper middle class
looking into science, engineering, or architecture (i'm better at science than my ACT score might say)</p>

<p>I think you have great chances at all the schools listed aside from Tufts. Not many schools are going to be okay with the fact that you didn’t take many AP classes. Like UTPG1234 said, we’re not really sure what school you’re looking for, so I can’t really reccomend much. I know that UCSB has a very prestigous physics program, and it’s definitely within your reach, so you might want to apply there. Also Syracuse, USC, and Cal Poly SLO are all great with architecture.</p>

<p>The town/school size doesn’t really matter to me. I would consider public or private.</p>

<p>I should have 5 AP classes done by the time I graduate.</p>
