How are the athletic facilities and gyms at Hopkins? Are they crowded?

Also, do you need to pay to use them?

The Rec Center is pretty new - it's only a few years old. It's a popular place, but it's not where varsity athletes work out, so there will never be an entire team practicing in there. If you're a student, it's free to use.

The athletic center will get packed on like dinner time on friday and on 6 oclock all week. It includes an indoor track, rock climbing wall, workout machine room, free weights and lifting machines, pool, raquetball and basketball courts. It is always a good place to go after a long week or day of class.

it's awesome. we all stood and gawked on the tour last summer.

ummm i wouldn't call it thaat amazing, but nice weight rooms+courts, nothing earth-shaking, everything's pretty new so thats good

three words - rock climbing wall!!!
