Can anyone pleace redirect me to a thread about this!!!!!!

Not to be harsh or anything, but if you are unable to use the search function, I doubt you are eligible academically to get into Harvard anyway.

it doesn’t matter athletes can be as dumb as bricks.

Actually, GreedIsGood, thats not true, especially for Ivy Leagues. ky12345, I have a thread about athletic recruit regarding Water Polo and general stuff, so u can just click and my prof. and find the thread. But you need to be eligible in the NCAA Division 1 (im assuming since your in the Harvard forum). However, remember that your academics, especially if your doing Harvard sports, must be at least decent (maybe not up to par with the average applicant, but certainly around that area). Hope that helps.

[Athletic Recruits - College Confidential](Athletic Recruits - College Confidential Forums)
is the forum to discuss athletic recruiting - the main emphasis is Ivy. Without getting into all the details, you’ll need to be within one standard deviation of the mean academic index of the general student body at Harvard to be recruitable.
Academic Index is based on SAT and class rank. Think 700+ per SAT section and top 10% class rank to be in the coach’s comfort zone. It can be slightly lower for super high (top national ranking) athletes.
Bear in mind if you do get in you’ll be doing the same work as your non-athlete peers while spending 3 hours a day at practice. It’s not for the faint of heart.

It’s a moot point - the poster who asked the original question is now halfway through college.

And if you can’t read time stamps, where does that put you?
