NO ONE ON THIS BOARD CAN TELL YOU - “you are done”, if it is a “sinker”, a “done deal”,

Maybe another part of your resume is so spectacular, it will bring up one low grade.
Maybe, you will go to Penn, or maybe you might go to Cornell…
Or maybe another school.

Just don’t get yourself set on one school…
After school and your finals are over, send out a ton of letters to other coaches.
It will work out.

Thanks for answering! Update: I finished with a C average in my math class. A low C, but nonetheless a C. So no Ds! I guess that helps me avoid a worse case scenario

Good. I don’t want to say “congrats” but given the context of the thread it may be appropriate. Now is the time to “step on the gas” with your academics, SATs and your sport. Good luck!

Ignore the advice to join more clubs. From an admissions perspective, that would be a complete waste of time. Three reasons, 1) as a rising senior it’s too late for any benefit, 2) even if you had years in the “Asian club” or whatever, that would mean very little, 3) if you’re supported by a coach, other ECs are typically unnecessary.
