<p>Hi, this is my first time posting. My child signed an NLI for Fall 2010 and has finished 1 semester in a Div 1 school. She has decided that whilst she has no complaints with the school and her teammates, the coaches are not very professional in their programs as well as outlook. She tried talking to them about her wish to transfer and was given a good telling off and was even threatened by the head coach to 'badmouth' her to whichever school she decides to transfer to. As she is the best athlete in the team, chances of her being dropped are quite far off in fact she is always fielded for the max no of events even tho competitions are back to back. After being yelled at, she is even more determined to get a transfer but what should she do now? Go straight to the AD or wait out 1 year and fulfill NLI but would she still have to get permission to contact? Hope someone can help. THX!</p>
