Thanks a ton....I am a bit worried because of my lower GPA. I you need any more information, let me know.

Yeah really good chance, especially if you applied ED. Let us know if you got in.
PS your sat scores balance your gpa out. But I wouldn't worry. You should be in.

If they reject you (which won't happen) I wouldn't look at is a bummer, because most top 25 well definetly like to take you in.

I actually in your case would have applied RD and compared financial aid packages, maybe you would be able to get more out from NYU by showing them that school B is giving you more.

You pretty much have similar credentials as I do. I'm applying RD to NYU. The only difference is that I have low test scores and a 4.0 UW GPA. I'm afraid I won't get in. I wrote a killer essay and I should have great rec's, but I'm not too sure. I think you should have no problem getting in, especially since you applied ED. I, for some reason, get the feeling that NYU likes your test scores better than your GPA (but what do I know?).

due to URM status and good SAT score, I'd say you have a shot at any of the ivies. If you give us your rank, I can tell you in further detail your chances. But as to NYU -> In
