<p>I need to get an ATM account before I begin UCLA as a freshman. Which bank would you recommend based on availability on campus, in Westwood, and throughout the rest of LA?</p>
<p>anyone of them is fine, there are ATMs in the middle of campus where you'll pass by when you go to class... plus on the hill (residential area) you don't need any money really since it is all just swipes and you can use your ATM card at hilltop... and if you go other place to shop you'll have to pass Ackerman where all the ATM machines are...</p>
<p>getting a bank, i say Bank of America. they have ATM's on campus and a Bank of America just south of the medical center.</p>
<p>I'll be a freshman in the fall and I got a Bank of America account. They offer 100% free service for 5 years for their student account and have ATM's on campus and a branch in WestWood.</p>
<p>wamu free checking. you can also open a 3.3% APY savings account online when you open a free checking account.</p>
<p>also, wamu and wells fargo have ATMs on the hill (wells in rieber, wamu in covel).</p>
<p>theres BOA and Wamu machines in ackerman so availably wont be a problem</p>
<p>There's also BoA and Wamu machines in that cafe area near Royce Hall (I'm a freshman so I don't know what they call it here haha)</p>

<p>err, what? northern lights is kind of far from there... well.. i guess... there's some outside the north campus center in general, in the outdoor dining area two ATMs.</p>
<p>...Northern Lights is just north of Murphy, which is across from Campbell, and the outdoor dining place is in between Murphy and Campbell. so the ATMs are near Northern Lights, not Royce. stupid freshman.</p>
<p>anyway, there's Wamu, BoA, Wells Fargo, and Univ. Credit Union in Ackerman and scattered all over campus, and a couple in the res halls.</p>

<p>northern lights is the cafe attached to the north campus student center, which is immediately north of rolfe. the ATMs are in the north east corner of the NCSC terrace where all the metal tables and chairs are.</p>
<p>just north of murphy is dodd. just north of dodd is luvalle commons.</p>
<p>oh. yeah Rolfe, not Murphy. i got the names confused -.-</p>
<p>btw, northern lights blueberry muffins apparently only contain two blueberries... -_-</p>
