I just took a trip to the NY/NJ area to do campus tours and college visits and I felt at home on Seton Hall’s campus. I’ve heard mixed reviews and read different things about how happy students are on campus. I’ve read some things about people hating it and some people loving it, which I guess goes for any school but yeah. I want to know how students generally feel here, if they’re happy, what life is like, etc.
I’ve narrowed it down to Seton Hall and Manhattan College, but I’m leaning towards Seton Hall because of the programs in psychology and how the campus felt better.
Any help or insight would help!!
I would be interested if anyone has an answer here. DD just got accepted for the class of 2023 with a $21K per year Uni scholarship and a $1500 summer scholarship. We have not visited the school yet, and I know it’s not in a nice area (unfortunately for the school, although West and South of campus are supposedly fine). Even with the 21K off of tuition, it’s still looking like an additional 23K for remaining tuition, plus 15K for room and board.
@HankCT. Also interested in detailed campus info, esp weekends? (Didn’t know it was considered a suitcase school? Or if that’s true??). Daughter accepted class of ‘23 with $24/yr and same summer $ and also have not visited yet. Still waiting on honors college answer. (Unless they only replied to those accepted and in that case, she is out) Attendance is sort of reliant on HC at this point, I think but I’d like to hear more about that too from students in it.
