<p>Hey, I figured I should start doin some research, since I'm considering going to Columbia now.</p>
<p>To anyone who attends Columbia:
Is there a good campus atmosphere? Or does the main social life exist in NYC, outside of campus? Are there like dorm parties and whatnot? Or are people scattering after classes and wandering into the concrete jungle of NYC?</p>

<p>I was going to let this thread die but I feel that you deserve an explanation after you "bump"ed it.</p>
<p>One reason people might not be posting is probably because of bitterness. After many 1st choice die-hard Columbians getting rejected/waitlisted, it probably disheartens them to see that somebody who's only researching Columbia now that he or she has been accepted. It's not your fault at all in this matter.</p>
<p>But here is a thread that might interest you and possible others.</p>
<p>You can search for more by sorting according with most replies or views.</p>
