<p>Does anybody know what banks have ATMs on campus or what banks are near campus so I can open an account at a place where my S will have easy access to getting cash when needed?</p>
<p>The ND Credit Union has ATM’s on campus and a convenient small branch office on campus in LaFortune, the student center. You will get a mailing from them sometime in the next month or so with information about opening an account and they will have extra staff on campus during FroshO (move-in weekend) to finalize setting up accounts, facilitate picking up debit cards, etc. Definitely the most convenient option and I can recommend it.</p>

<p>The ND credit union is part of a network of CU’s. If you are a member of a CU at home, check the ND CU website to see if you can access your account from the ATM. Also, you can use the ATM to access accounts at other banks. My child uses it occasionally and pays $1 for the privilege. There is not a huge need for cash since most on-campus expenses can be paid with Domer Dollars deposited on the ID card.</p>
