is anyone attaching a resume to their common app, is it an advantage to?
i have an average number of ECs and was wondering if just listing them was enough. the 7 i listed are cross country, flute, volunteering at UConn hospital, track manager, foreign exchange club, black belt in taekwondo, and quilting. i wrote the short answer about my job as a pharmacy tech.
i've also heard that you should attach an activties list in a chart form and elaborate on the different activities.
what is everyone else planning on doing?

My son sent resumes to every school he applied to. I think you should too.

I don't know if it actually gives you an "advantage," but I am planning on sending one. (My school does this anyway, but the ones that students are issued are crappy, so I made my own.) I included pretty much everything on the Common App with some additions and brief descriptions.

Make sure it's no more than a page. Have someone look it over for you.

A 'resume' should be complete listings of important activities (ie you say Club soccer but then explain the tournaments you won and the mvp awards you garnered).

I am, if only because I despise the commonapps layout (and because my school "highly suggests" it.

Along with ses, no more than one page- if it is, no more than front and back, and VERY easy to read through fast.
