<p>question is basically the title. the thing is i do A LOT of community service for over +20 charities so there is no way i could nor would i want to list them all. however my school's community service adviser wrote me a recommendation letter as a backup. since the other letters i got were cleared with guidance could i use his to go into detail all of my community service work?</p>
<p>Sure you could, as long as the specific schools to which you’re applying are okay with additional recommendations. However, I think it is generally considered much more appropriate for the recommender to send the recommendation directly to the school him/herself.</p>
