<p>Is it possible to attach a word document to the MIT app? I know for a fact that the common app allows you to do so and I really need to do this in order to show the depth of one of my EC's.</p>
<p>You can send the document in on paper as supplemental material to your application. Send it to the address at the bottom of the admissions webpage.</p>
<p>If you have additional EC’s to show, then you can send it as a supplemental.
However, if you want to “show the depth of one of [your] EC’s”, then there is a special field right after the activity list on the MIT App that lets you elaborate on it.</p>

I don’t see anything like that on the application…it does give us 40 words for each of the 5 activities though. Am I missing something?</p>

In that case, I suggest putting it in one of your essay to really elaborate on it.</p>
<p>Yes, agreed. I know that my two major extracurricular activities were used in one way or another in my essays.</p>
