Attempted to change major, but failed to do so, due to the new system of registration? do i still ha

Couple months back i posted a question about changing majors from zoology to cell/molecular biology and asked it was a good idea. first foward, i was looking forward to the change for major, and have been anticipating for weeks for registration to open up at 12am today. However, upon trying to access the registration site, it conveniently gets busy or crashes at the same time, making me wait for more than an hour before traffic was better on the site. Upon trying to choose classes for the new major, it was closed by the time i came back and tried to registered. I had been trying to access the site for over an hour. When i did most classes were closed(some were closed before the registration today). The new registration system which is comparatively much inferior to the old one, because it takes an inordinate amounts of time to load a page. which only compounded the problem when the server disconnected me or slowed me down. Before you could choose classes, and go on the first day to show your pre-requisites to the teacher for something like "organic chemistry 2". Now it just blocks you automatically for not having pre-reqs. I took it at another instituition, for some reason they did not intergrate transfer classes into equivalent records for sfsu, thus every semester i had to take a class that had pre-reqs i took from another instituition, i had to produce the pre-reqs in my transcript from my comp or in paper format.
I have a feeling that the new system is designed to prevent people changing majors or at least slow them down. The new system which is much more difficult to navigate then the old, as you cannot use backspace, or tab a specific link in that site to a new page on your browser. the issue is now, that i dropped classes during the fiasco midnight, but i had to quickly add back my original class for my original major, because there were no class open for the new major. I would assume that everyone was waiting to add on 12am today. i had already alerted the department for chemistry. however i dont see i will be able change majors this semester, now since i will be taking classes according to zoology, i will not be on track with cell/molecular biology once the semester is done? is still a good idea to change, because it will just delay me if i wait til next semester to choose just these same classes?
sorry for my conspiracies, but i think sfsu, and the school system in my state is actively preventing people from changing majors, because its costly to the school or whatever. This new system is like buying on amazon, because afther choosing classes, it goes into the cart, unbeknownst to most people it does not register people, you must keep clicking the "proceed" button, leading to the false belief that they registered, finding out later they were not in the classes they choose. sorry for this rant.

i would like to add they put the entire registration system, on an entirely new site this semester, as opposed to the old one which is on the site where you login your account. the new site i noticed also kicks you out of your account after you try to backspace or try to search something else as well.
