Attend UF 5 semesters as a transfer student?

<p>I was admitted as a transfer student in Spring 2010, so following a four-semester plan I would be on track to graduate in Fall 2011. I know that UF really tries to stress graduating on time, especially for transfer students, but I was wondering if any of you know if it's possible for a transfer student to attend UF for a 5th semester, and if so how do I go about petitioning for this. </p>

<p>It would be so much better for me if I could graduate in Spring 2012, i.e. that's when my friends graduate and my apartment lease ends, plus I'd have more time to take prerequisite classes outside of my major for a program I'm applying to after I graduate.</p>

<p>I can only address part of your post- your concern about graduating before you are able to take prereqs outside of your major. You can always take summer classes to make sure you get all of your prereqs.</p>
