Attendance Record in Regards to Admission

<p>I recently found out my school sends cumulative attendance records along with transcripts, and was wondering if I should bother excusing previous absences for things such as sick days, college interviews, etc. </p>

<p>I don't bother reporting them, because it's a hassle & not really worth it...so is it bad if I just have like 7 unexcused absences for 12th grade alone? (5 can be excused)</p>

<p>No one cares about your attendance – only your performance. They look at your transcript for grades, not days absent.</p>
