Attending CPP over CSUF or CSULB because of impacted business major?

Im starting Community College this August and I am majoring in Business Administration with a focus on Computer Information Systems (CIS). My closest CSU if CSUF, and CSULB is also pretty close by, so those are in my top 3 choices to transfer to, but CPP is my top choice. My preference of CSU’s would be CPP>CSULB>CSUF. Anyways, CSUF and Long Beach are known mostly as “business schools” and their business programs get filled and impacted quickly, so this just adds a benefit to CPP since business never (or usually doesnt?) gets impacted there. So if i am on the fence with all three, would this be a good reason to attend CPP and make the “30 minute” one way commute to CPP via the CA-57 North? I just dont want to get stuck at a CSU for more than 2 years because of my major becoming impacted quickly and I cant get my classes. So is going to CPP to avoid impacted majors at another CSU a good reason to go to CPP?

I don’t know about CSULB, but Cal Poly’s CIS program is infinitely better than CSUF’s program. CSUF is indeed a business school, but they excel more in economics and other “real” business majors. So yeah, I think it would be smart to attend CPP instead.

@tehjoadsta Thanks. Yeah, CSUF has a pretty small CIS program and it’s actually kinda worrying me, like i dont want to be in it. Compare that to CPP’s CIS program. Also, CSUF has no extra business courses like finances or operations management in their CIS minor. CSULB doesnt have a list like the other two, so i dont really know about that, but CPP is still my top choice, hopefully I will be able to get in.

those are the requirements you’d have to complete to get a business admin degree at CUSF. On top of that, you’d have to complete the CIS requirements that you posted.
